Papa and I got to visit you today. You are growing like a weed my sweet little buddy! You’re up to 20 pounds and just a little roly poly. I love you so very much. You started smiling too and boy it’s bright as the sun. 

Hello, my sweet boy. Today Papa and I got to meet you for the first time. You are the most amazing little boy I’ve laid eyes on since your Daddy, your Uncle B (his brother), and your Auntie England & Auntie Keiah (his sisters). You hated getting your pics taken, probably because we were inside and you are very clearly going to be an outdoor kinda kid. As soon as we took you outside, in the breeze, you fell fast asleep. I told your daddy it would be fun to put you somewhere on the jeep so we could take pics as you grow, in the same area each time. The pics turned out awesome, and I’m so lucky to have been able to take them. Here are some of my favs.

You came into this crazy world today at 4:18am, my little buddy. You weighed 9 pounds and 14 ounces and were 21 inches long. Your daddy called me at  5:33am to let me know the news. I am so excited to meet you!
The weather is kinda gloomy today as it’s been raining on and off, but you’re the sunshine that made this day amazing.
It’ll be a few days, maybe even weeks, before I can meet you, but know I can’t wait!
